What is a Clean Energy Council Approved Retailer?
The Clean Energy Council (CEC for short) is the peak body for the clean energy industry in Australia and represents and works with hundreds of leading businesses operating in solar, wind, energy efficiency, hydro, bioenergy, energy storage, geothermal, and marine along with more than 5000 solar installers.
They developed the Code of Conduct to provide consumers peace of mind that they have made the right choice when deciding on which company to purchase a solar power system from by selecting a retailer that is committed to superior quality and service. The Code of Conduct was also created to weed out a lot of the unscrupulous solar companies and installers that have plagued the industry over the years with poor products, workmanship, and customer service and support.
